"Historical. Fast Friendly Atmosphere. Great Service. A Light Dinner. The Fried Artichokes were Fabulous. I Loved the Jalapeno Artichoke dip for my Artichokes. Will Definitely come back"

"If you are not from Mediterranean countries or southern Europe, you may come and try. Because all was fresh, but not tasteful. Otherwise your grandmom can cook better:)"

"An absolute must stop if you're an artichoke lover or even curious! My dad and I came here, no wait, and enjoyed the Giant Artichoke special platter which is a little bit of everything and a great share for 2 people. We loved their dips and the fried heart and of course the whole artichoke. We enjoyed a generous glass Pinot noir with our meal. We were well taken care of and enjoyed reading about the artichoke industry from the front of the menu. We will be back!"

"This was our first pit stop for our great American trip, which started from San Fransisco along with our family. Had proper American style lunch with club sandwitch and creamy soup. The lady at the counter had pleasant smile and us served as well. Portions were huge we had to pack half of it. The place is neat and tidy and have clean washroom. They also have plenty of parking in front."

"We came in obviously to try the fried artichokes on our way out of town and even though it was a bit too early to eat we bought them anyway. They were so fresh and hot and really yummy, we couldn't eat them all and probably didn't need a large order but so glad we stopped in, the ladies were so welcoming and helpful. Decided to try some of their Artichoke bread too and it was moist and flavorful. Next time we will definitely come at meal time and sit and try some more of their offerings. But if you only have a little time and want a snack get the fried artichokes you won't be disappointed."

"Although the restaurant seems a bit outdated I do like the nostalgic atmosphere, we had an amazing server who was very attentive and friendly, I love all thing's artichoke and of course we got the big platter which fed 2, everything was great, it's a nice place to stop with the family."

"We were the only 2 people in the restaurant, so obviously the service was great. I had the creamy artichoke soup and a burger, and it was delicious. My husband had a taco salad, and he said it was very good. The prices were very reasonable, and if I'm ever in Castroville again, I'll definitely stop in."
